About this place
Want plenty of vegetables but fewer noodles? The vegetable-packed tanmen is available with a smaller noodle portion. One diner who ordered it said the vegetables made the meal satisfying even with less noodles. At Hidakaya’s Hatagaya South Exit branch, you can enjoy the tanmen on its own or choose a set with pan-fried gyoza or half a serving of fried rice.
Tenshinhan is another meal option. One diner’s review describes the combination of rice and sweet-and-sour sauce, with crab-flavoured surimi adding a little contrast; they also finished the soup served alongside it. The menu notes that the dish uses crab-flavoured surimi and comes with soup. A set with gyoza is also available, making it an option when you want rice at the centre of your meal.
The casual dining room has table seating, making it suitable for anything from a solo meal to a light drink. Snacks such as Chinese cabbage kimchi, chilled tofu and a three-item platter can be paired with beer or a highball. With a choice of noodle portions and set meals, it works for both a full meal and a quick drink.
